The national board has worked hard and getting ready for the international conference that will be held the first week of May. Pastors and leaders from all over South America for this conference. The last one Miriam and I attended was in 2006 so it will be good to renew acquaintances and see old friends again. We'll hope to have some pictures posted after the conference.

God has been blessing in a tremendous way, strengthening the churches, filling people with the Holy Ghost, and doing a tremendous work in the hearts and lives of men and women.

Last night the power of God fell and several were filled with the Holy Ghost. The presence of the Lord was strong! During the altar service people did not want to leave, but stayed praing and seeking the face of the Lord.

God is doing a great work in South America!

]]>GATS Seminar Arriving in Buenos Aireshttp://mmsponsler.com/blog/2012/1/17/gats-seminar-arriving-in-buenos-aires.htmlMichael Sponsler2012-01-17T19:49:23Z2012-01-17T19:49:23ZThe Instituto Bíblico de Argentina recently took a major step forward in its on-going desire to further train pastos and leaders in the Argentine church.  IBA submitted it's application to join the GATS program, the international theological program of the UPCI (http://www.gatsonline.org/)  In this we will be able to raise the standard of Christian education and be able to train present and future leadership at a much higher level than before.

To start this process our staff needs to be trained as well.  This February 3-4 will see 1 night and 1 day of intensive staff training.  We're excited to have Missionaries Steve Nix of Nicaragua, Joe Bir of Paraguay (and South America GATS representative), Michael Walmer of Uruguay and Vladamir Goodwin of Paraguay joining us in the presentation and training of the program.

Please keep us in prayer as we launch this valuable and important phase in the work of the Argentina church.
